Sanction

The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation reserves the right to take the following action(s) when a client does not make a good faith effort to complete their supported activity and/or fails to accomplish goals outlined within the plan.

  • If a client refuses to follow their plan without acceptable justification, their participation will be sanctioned and/or terminated.

  • If a student’s grades are below a 2.0 they will be put on sanction the next quarter and must bring up their GPA up to 2.0. If the GPA is again below 2.0 the student will be put on a 180 day sanction. Sanction will remain in place, until the student can provide proof GPA is 2.0.

  • Student is ineligible/can no longer receive aid for a course he/she previously failed.

  • If during the training/employment period, if  the client voluntarily terminates his/her employment without good cause, they will be sanctioned.

  •  If the client terminates a second position within the same year, the client will be sanctioned for (6) six months.

  •  If a client fails to participate in any part of their established plan, the client will be sanctioned for a 90 day period.

  • During the sanctioned period, E&T staff and the client will identify any areas that may be determined as a barrier then adjust their plan.

  •  During the sanction period, there will be no monetary services for the client.

  •  Sanctions will be progressive for each offense (90 days, 6 months, and 1 year).
