Omak Head Start & Early Head Start

Welcome to the Omak Head Start & Early Head Start program. The Omak Head Start program is located in the historic landmark location of the former Mill site located in East Omak. After much anticipation, the new Omak Tribal Head Start building is now open! The Omak Head Start program serves up to 88 children ages birth to five, which includes 16 home visits. The Omak Head Start staff have been part of the nselxcin language intensive program funded by the Potlatch Fund, inspiring them to strive toward a modified immersion language program for the children. Teachers have demonstrated great enthusiasm for the revitalization of our tribal languages and culture.
